Vision & Mission
In many ways, the vision of all Christian churches is to make the invisible Kingdom of God visible.
Our vision at Espérance de la Gloire International Church is to see the kingdom of Jesus Christ birthed in people’s hearts so that they can enjoy the Love of God, and the love of one another, and experience life as God the creator intended it to be here on earth. Our aim is to restore the presence of God in the family, in order to rebuild strong communities and nations. But we would like also to see the minds of people, particularly in the Francophone world, being renewed by the knowledge of the Truth of the Word of God.
By Faith in God and His Grace, we envision a community that is itself being transformed by the Gospel. Also by Faith, we envision a community that is helping to transform primarily the Borough of Brent, followed by the entire UK, and the rest of world in all spheres of life and culture.
The mission of Espérance de la Gloire International Church is to teach Christians worldwide who they are in Christ Jesus and how to live a victorious life in their covenant rights and privileges. The fulfillment of that mission takes place when believers become rooted and grounded enough in the knowledge of the kingdom and the righteousness of God’s based in the Word of God (Bible) to reach out and teach others these same principles that set them free from the bondage and the kingdom of darkness.
We are called to assist believers in becoming established in their blood bought rights as citizens of the kingdom of God, but particularly to understand their position, privileges, duties, and responsibilities as sons and daughters of God and heirs to God’s promises according to the Word of God, by teaching them to give God’s Word first place in their lives (Matthew 6: 33; Colossians 1:23).
We are called to reveal the mysteries of the kingdom of God, the victorious revelations of God’s Word, that have been hidden from the ages (Colossians 1:25-28).We are called to build an army of mature believers, bringing them from milk to meat, from religion to reality. We are called to train them to become skillful in the word of righteousness, to stand firm in the spiritual warfare against the kingdom of darkness (Hebrews 5:12-14, Ephesians 6:10-18). And finally to prepare the way to the return of the great King Jesus-Christ.
